  The INTERREG III B project InLoC – Integrating Logistics Centres Networks in the Baltic Sea Region (www.inloc.info) organises three workshops, which deal with the current situation of logistics centres in the Baltic Sea region and their networking.

The second public workshop of the InLoC project will be held in Poznań, Poland on 15 –16 September 2005. The workshop is organised by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing (Poznań) and the Martitime Institute in Gdańsk.
The organisers together with the InLoC lead partner, Centre for Maritime Studies University of Turku jointly invite you to take part in this workshop.

1. Presentation of the current state of the development of Logistics Centres in
Poland
2. Presentation and discussion on the different frameworks the private-public
partnership (PPP) in BSR countries, related to the development of LCs
3. Working visit to Wielkopolskie Centrum Logistyczne – WCL (Wielkopolska
Logistics Centre) in Konin (100 km eastward from Poznań) - presentation of a
practical example of the PPP model
 
Friday, September 16th,2005
1. Presentation of selected Polish initiatives and developments:
  Pomorskie Centrum Logistyczne (Pomerania Logistics Centre) –
Gdańsk
  Zachodniopomorskie Centrum Logistyczne (Westpomerania
Logistics Centre) – Szczecin
  Port of Gdynia - Distribution - Logistics Centre.
2. Workgroup Session for preparation of a list of needs for changes in the legal,
administrative and infrastructural framework necessary for overcoming the
identified barriers hindering development of public logistics centres in the BSR
region
3. Presentation of the one of the logistics centres in Poznań (optional visit to the
centre)
Closing: 16th September 2005, 15.00 p.m.



The final workshop programme inc. timetable will be sent to the participants by
1st September 2005.
